Big Bloomers extra large trousers are made for the extra full figure –  hips 68”/173cm – or, put it another way, our 8xl Leisure Trousers will fit women who weight 30 stone and more.  They’ll fit you and you’ll look good and feel good wearing them.

Big Bloomers trousers – or pants, are made to accommodate big bodies. They are comfortable trousers for large, active ladies to wear about the house.  They are smart trousers for busy about-town women to wear for work.  They’re great for overweight ladies to just lounge about in.  If any of those descriptions fit YOU, then you’ve come to the right place because Big Bloomers specialise in making really smart, comfortable clothing for really big women.  Our smart Leisure Trousers are made in sizes 5XL up to 8XL.  The largest of these are a really big 8xl which equates with a dress size of approximately 48/50 and it will accommodate hips 68”/173cm – or, put another way, these trousers will comfortably fit women who weight upwards of 30 stones. 

The Big Bloomers Leisure Trousers are made from 95% jersey cotton with just 5% lycra which is enough to help them maintain their smart shape.  They have a wide, comfortable elastic waistband with a tie cord - if you don’t want the tie cord, then you can easily cut it out…. we included it because feedback from our customers suggested that some of you like the added security of being able to tie a cord round your waist.

We’ve included a pocket in both side seems, here again, feedback suggested that having a pocket on one side only meant too much stuff having to be pushed into one pocket…. and of course, the single pocket was usually on the wrong side for left handed people!   

Long legs? Short trousers! What a problem.  Not any more. Big Bloomers have made their Leisure Trousers extra long in the leg on the basis that you can easily chop some fabric off the bottom, but there’s nothing you can do with trousers this stop just short of your ankles.  We’ve designed these Leisure Trousers so that they can very easily be shortened, there’s no fancy hemming or complicated turn-ups, and they’ll lose nothing by having the bottom cut off and simply re-hemmed.

Trousers of extra large women.  The Big Bloomers Company have expanded their range to include their own Big Bloomers brand of smart, comfortable jersey Leisure Trousers.  As with our famous Big Bloomers knickers and panties, these extra large trousers have been designed to fit very big women.  We’ve done our homework and we’ve listened to what big women require for fit and comfort and the result is our Leisure Trousers in sizes up to 8XL which equates with a dress size of approximately 48/50 or, another way of giving you an idea of how we are catering for the requirements of big women – our 8XL Leisure Trousers will fit women weighing 30 stone and more.
